Privacy Policy

MarginOS (“we”) provides contribution-margin analytics for Shopify merchants. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Data we process

• Account data (name, email) via Clerk
• Shopify store data: orders, products, refunds, customer ids/emails for cohort math
• Ad spend from Meta/Google when you connect those accounts
• COGS and shipping costs you upload
• Billing metadata via Razorpay or Shopify Billing

Purpose

We use this data solely to calculate unit economics, show dashboards, send alerts/morning briefs, and bill for the service.

Retention & deletion

We honor Shopify GDPR webhooks (`customers/data_request`, `customers/redact`, `shop/redact`). After uninstall or shop redact we disconnect tokens and purge or anonymize store data within 30 days.
